Mexico’s Violent Drug War rages on leading the towns people of Texas to cover in fear of what will happen to them if this war further continues. The Mexican’s control over the production and distribution of narcotic drugs continue to put fear on people in Texas town. The epicenter of Mexico’s violent drug war, is a small town populated by 1,700 people, named Fort Hancock, 50 miles southeast Ciudad Juarez, is where the Violent Drug War of Mexico is held.
The rising violence in Mexico had an effect to the rising anxiety of the people of Texas town. They say the greatest fear is the fear of the unknown, which is just what the people in Texas town, is experiencing right now, Romero a Border Patrol Agent says “The residents are concerned,” “They want to know what’s happening.”
Border Patrol Agent Romero helped to lessen the anxiety of the people in Texas town in their concern that the Mexico’s Violent Drug War will be right on their doorstep and they cant even see it coming, Romero asked the cooperation of the townspeople for he alone cant do it.
Fort Hancock is a desolate, sandswept town, whether there will be illegal immigrants, smugglers or members of drug cartels. They can be easily spotted and people could prepare.
