Survey on Gays defended by the Pentagon
In the Pentagon defends the integrity of a survey that is sent to over 400,000 members of the armed forces. The survey asked for personal opinions of the military’s “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell” policy on gays and lesbians. A dedicated group called the Servicemembers United supports gay and lesbian troops it costs $4.4 million survey the surveys design will make the Pentagon’s responsibility to subdue homophobia as part of this inevitable policy change even harder. Critics on the survey has concerns on the surveys use of term such as ‘homosexual,’ which is a negative connotation than the words ‘gay’ or ‘lesbian. The comprehensive review of the “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell” is said to be completed by December 2010.
