Li-Ning Singapore Open Badminton 2010 Participants Arriving

SINGAPORE OPEN BADMINTON 2010 — The top rated badminton players from around the world has arrived in Singapore to participate in this year’s Li_Ning Singapore Open Badminton Tournament 2010. Games will be held in the Singapore Indoor stadium all throughout the week.

Men’s ranked no. 1 Lee Chong Wei have arrived for the tournament. Past champions Peter Gade from Denmark and Thailands’ Boonsak Ponsana are now also in the country. They will all be competing for the cash prize amounting to US$200,000 (S$280,000).

Local badminton stars, Xing Aiying is also ready for the tournament. She will be battling top seeded Saina Nehwal from India, Wong Mew Choo from Malaysia and Zhou Mi from Hong Kong. Zhou Mi is also the defending champion of the women’s singles division.
