Jon Stewart on Helen Thomas : What The —-?

While the Act many Christian churches as artificial support for the U.S. government, and Peddle more propaganda about Israel that politicians, the truth to expose the essence of absolute ignorance and intolerance therein enveloping America was revealed June 9, 2010 an episode of The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, for which he deserves the Pulitzer Prize.

Stewart skewered the White House Press Corps response to the premature resignation of the venerable matron Helen Thomas by the media roasted on the fire of their own inadequacies. Brilliant.

The Daily Show’s Jon Stewart had one question for longtime White House reporter Helen Thomas last night: “Helen, what the f___?”

Using a comic style that has catapulted his Comedy Central program to the forefront of the list of must-watch programs NEWS, capitalizes on Stewart sad reflection of America failed Fourth Estate by simply holding a mirror.

Losing Helen Thomas

The irony is true in the defection of dog eat dog that has reduced the White House Press Corps to cannibalism. Helen Thomas has not a chance. No wonder she resigned after his remarks handed out at a drive-by interviewer on the plight of Palestinians. His colleagues, many of were in college when Ms. Thomas already made historic progress in at least 30 years of his career, to turn against her.

The chorus of condemnation of Ms. Thomas has reached a crescendo across the landscape faster media elite.

Debate on Israel

In the wake of the sudden resignation of Ms. Thomas – and in the current knowledge that it will not receive well-deserved pomp and circumstance of retirement – the media does not seem too concerned about issues relating to the monumental challenges of Israel and Palestinians it raises. Point of Ms. Thomas, as bluntly as she said, was an acceptable platform to discuss issues that were at the heart of the Arab-Israeli conflict since the Balfour Declaration, before the formation of the State of Israel. The massive immigration of European Jews is at the heart of a dispute basis. And while Ms. Thomas’ comments related to the occupation of new Israeli settlements, the question on a broken promise on mass immigration to Palestine extends over 60 years.

Of course, reporters like Kurtz highly respected Washington Post Howard will defend the media coverage of issues relating to Israel. But similar defenses have been made of the media coverage of important issues that have led to economic collapse of 2008. Subsequent investigations in the media’s efforts to inform the public discovered that the media were appalling, ignorant and indifferent, even in their efforts to educate the public with relevant information they need to know. I suspect the same is true with regard to the Arab-Israeli conflict and especially the fate of the Palestinians.
