Iceland Volcano Eruption update: Fear on Katla Volcano Eruption Continues

After the ceasing of the Eyjafjallajoekull, a new volcano Katla is feared to eruption. This Volcano was said to be Dormant for 200 years, in its Eruption. It has ripped off a 1km long fissure in a field of ice. The volcano near Eyjafjallajoekul glacier may erupt after a couple of months.

During the Iceland Volcano Eruption Iceland Airspace has been closed, and flights diverted. The eruption is found aroun 120km or 75miles east of the capital, Reykjavik.
500 People were evacuated from the area. Domestic flights are immediately canceled, and National Flights will resume this sunday. The eruption is taking place in a Ice Free area. Are there any hard facts on the feared Katla Volcano Eruption? Are there any proofs that this will happen?
